TraitSpring works without an account. Each assessment is scored in your browser, and your response record is never sent to our server.
No answer database
We do not create a server record containing your responses, scores, name, or email.
Aggregate counts only
We count page views, selected navigation clicks, test starts and completions, result views, and successful share actions by day.

What ordinary hosting still sees
Like other websites, the hosting service necessarily processes standard request information to deliver pages and protect the service. TraitSpring does not add that information to its quiz metric table or combine it with quiz answers.
How anonymous measurement works
The analytics payload and aggregate metric table contain no answers, scores, full page URLs, query strings, referrer URLs, IP addresses, email addresses, account IDs, or visitor or session identifiers. We keep only a coarse source category such as direct, Google, Bing, Pinterest, or a TraitSpring shared link.
For the current tab, session storage holds anonymous deduplication flags and the coarse first-touch source category. It clears when the tab closes. Public analytics sets no cookie. An owner-only boolean cookie can exclude the owner’s browsers and is never stored with metrics.
Retention
Saved quiz progress expires after 30 days when you next visit the assessment. You can remove it sooner with the control above or through your browser settings. Aggregate event counts contain no personal answer data.
Contact and future changes
This first version has no contact form, advertising trackers, payment form, email capture, or account system. If those features are introduced later, this notice will be updated before they are enabled.
